These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lontevis (the "Service"), operated by Smart Technology Investments LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Lontevis, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Lontevis uses SSA life tables, IRS tax brackets, FRED historical return data, and BLS inflation data to model retirement withdrawal strategies. The Service provides Monte Carlo portfolio simulations, Social Security break-even analysis, tax-bracket-aware withdrawal sequencing, and Roth conversion optimization.

3. NOT Financial Advice

Lontevis is NOT a registered investment advisor, financial planner, or fiduciary. Results are educational modeling based on historical data and published actuarial tables. They do NOT constitute recommendations to claim Social Security at any particular age, convert any amount to Roth, or withdraw from any account in any sequence.

  • Consult a licensed fiduciary financial advisor before making SS claiming decisions
  • Consult a qualified CPA or tax advisor before executing Roth conversions
  • Past market performance does not guarantee future results
  • Monte Carlo simulations use historical distributions that may not reflect future markets

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Tax brackets, SS bend points, RMD tables, and IRMAA thresholds are sourced from IRS, SSA, and CMS publications. These change annually. We do not guarantee accuracy or timeliness. All estimates are probabilistic, not guarantees.

5. Credits and Billing

Single reports cost $12 (1 credit), report packs provide 5 credits ($35), and API credit packs are available. All fees are in U.S. dollars and non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

7. Limitation of Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM RETIREMENT DECISIONS MADE BASED ON OUR MODELING.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
